An introductory phone call or meeting may be made by a business broker or other means. During the initial conversation, our team will sign an NDA and then discuss high-level details about the business, such as approximate revenue and sales price (if there is one).

After the introductory conversation, we will seek to learn more about your business .We will ask some more in-depth questions about the history of your company, the industry your company competes within, how you structure your operations, and more. Ideally, we will also visit any facilities that the business owns or operates.

If your business meets our investment criteria, then we will sign a Letter Of Intent (LOI), which indicates our interest in purchasing the business and provides some legal protections for us to do proper due diligence.

Assuming there are no surprises during due diligence, we will sign a Purchase Agreement with all the details of our agreed upon price, contingencies, representations and warranties, etc. The final steps are to transfer funds to you, the Seller, and transition the management team. Preferably, the Seller will stay engaged with the business for a few weeks to help us understand all the minutiae of running a complex business operation.
